A path for every stage of life
“Trust”Upper Elementary School
Amanah
Amanah, the first tier of the Tarbiyah Seminary, is designed for elementary school students at the beginning of their Islamic learning journey. This two-year track builds a strong foundation in essential Islamic knowledge, character, and worship, helping students form a lifelong connection with their faith in a structured, engaging environment. The word "Amanah" means trust: a sacred responsibility children learn to understand through age-appropriate lessons rooted in the Qur'ān, the Sunnah, and character building.
“Compassion and care”Middle School
Shafqah
Shafqah, the second level of the Tarbiyah Seminary, gives middle school students a supportive setting to explore Islam more deeply. True to its name, which means compassion or care, Shafqah guides students through this pivotal age with empathy, tying their personal growth to the foundational teachings of Islam.
“Support and assistance”High School
Nusrah
Nusrah, the third tier of the Tarbiyah Seminary, is designed for high school students who want to deepen their faith and understanding. "Nusrah" signifies support or assistance, in both giving and receiving: the program aids students in their spiritual journey while teaching the importance of seeking Allah's help and being of service to others.
“Wisdom”College & Adults (18+)
Hikmah
Hikmah, the final stage of the Tarbiyah Seminary, is for adults 18 and over who wish to broaden their understanding of Islam. "Hikmah" means wisdom: the program integrates advanced Islamic teachings with the wisdom of life's experiences, guiding students to acquire wisdom from Islamic teachings and apply it in everyday life.
Arabic & classical texts (AP)
Arabic Language Studies
A structured daytime track in Arabic and the classical Islamic sciences: Arabic grammar and morphology, Qur'ānic translation, ḥadīth, sīrah in Arabic, and the etiquette of the student of knowledge.
Five themed weeks
Summer Camp 2026
Five weeks of themed learning through activities, skits, discussions, and hands-on projects, in two tracks.

Tarbiyah Seminary is a structured Islamic learning program designed for Muslim American youth and adults, organized into four levels: Amanah for upper elementary students, Shafqah for middle school, Nusrah for high school, and Hikmah for adults 18 and above. Each level nurtures Islamic knowledge, character, and spiritual growth in ways relevant to the needs and experiences of Muslims living in America.
