Fiqh of Society
Fiqh of Society is designed to help high school students navigate the social challenges of modern life through Islamic principles. This course addresses real situations students face with friends, parents, siblings, classmates, coworkers, non-mahram interactions, school environments, work settings, daʿwah, halal and haram choices, and differences of opinion. Students will learn how Islam guides relationships, boundaries, manners, decision-making, communication, respect, and personal responsibility. The course will help students understand not only what is halal or haram, but also the wisdom behind Islamic rulings and how to apply them with maturity and balance. Special attention will be given to common questions high school students face, such as friendship boundaries, gender interaction, social media, peer pressure, respecting parents, dealing with disagreements, and representing Islam with good character. By the end of the course, students will have a practical framework for making Islamic decisions in real-life social situations while maintaining confidence in their faith and identity.
